Blessings
Abound,
My daughter,
Kate Boisseau, shared these words from
Amelia Earhart: “The more one does, and
sees, and feels, the more one is able to do;
and the more genuine may be one’s
appreciation of fundamental things like
home, and love, and understanding
companionship.”
2012 is to be a year of great change. In
recent years, many of us have been shaken to
our foundations by change. We each need a
sanctuary, a place of kindness and strength
where we can rest and refuel. Can we
strengthen our homes, our sanctuaries, in
2012? Can we treat the people and animals
with whom we live with kindness and
gratitude? Can we treat ourselves with
kindness and gratitude? Many of us did not
grow up with the ethic of giving the best of
ourselves to the people closest to us. It
does not appear to be a cultural value, if
the media is any reflection of our culture.
It is never too late to teach ourselves this
ethic. It is never too late to learn to
show those closest with us the utmost in
respect and kindness. It is never too late
to be thankful for the ones Spirit has given
us
I’d like to
dedicate my writings this year to my husband
David – for his constant willingness to God,
for his never ending kindness and
appreciation towards me and for the
sanctuary he has made of our home. Thank

Burning Bowl Ceremony, Friday, January 6,

2012 in this traditional ceremony.
Kylie Devi is offering her “Recovering the
Spirit from Sexual Trauma” class one last
time in Gainesville.
Recovering
the Spirit from Sexual Trauma is an Eight
Week course that assists women and men in
understanding the impact sexual trauma has
had on the six bodies: mental, emotional,
physical, sexual, social and spiritual. It
offers tools for
self-assessment and individually tailored
solutions to free oneself in a supportive
setting. Former participants in the course
report both subtle and drastic changes in
their level of intimacy, their sexual lives,
and their ability to speak and communicate
assertively. They have deepened their sense
of purpose in the world and learned how to
trust a group, some for the first time. This
is the last time this course will be taught
in
Gainesville.
