excerpt from Chapter Two:

          Every time a flower blooms, a miracle has occurred.  Every time forgiveness replaces resentment, a miracle has occurred.  Every time parts of a broken bone fuse back together, a miracle has occurred.  Every time sadness smiles, a miracle has occurred.  These are all natural occurrences.  Look around – there is a miracle in every moment.     Every day, I see Reiki healings support shifts in consciousness which lead to emotional and physical recovery – usually a gradual process, but nonetheless, a miracle.   In opening our hearts and minds, we find and honor a miracle in every healing.

          Each of us, in our truth, is a Divine Being, the essence of God/dess, made up entirely of love and light.  Spiritual healing seeks to remind us of this truth, to help us to feel our oneness with God and with each other.  When we touch into our Divine Presence, we are able to see more clearly our own individual Path, our gifts and attributes, the beauty we have to share with the world – our authentic selves.  Spiritual healing endeavors to give us the courage and strength to walk the Path of the Miracle.
